JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Role:
Reporting to the Senior Manager – Communications and Public Affairs , the candidate is required to:
- Support the development and execution of corporate communications initiatives including advertising and branding, external communications and public relations;
- Support the development and execution of stakeholder engagement programmes, such as events, briefings and exhibitions to promote knowledge and understanding of the Corporation to external stakeholders;
- Managing public enquiries through the call centre and in written form;
- Provide editorial services such as copywriting, editing and translation for publications, presentations and other information materials.
Job Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications, Marketing or other relevant disciplines;
- 3 - 5 years of working experience in Communications / Public Relations / Marketing-related fields;
- Work experience in the financial services / banking / insurance industry would be an added advantage;
- Good verbal and written skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia;
- Proactive individual with good initiative and drive, resourceful and meticulous;
- Team player with effective communication skills and interpersonal skills.
Perbadanan Insurans Deposit Malaysia (PIDM) is an established independent statutory body that is responsible to administer the Deposit Insurance System (DIS) and the Takaful and Insurance Benefits Protection System (TIPS) to protect depositors and owners of takaful certificates and insurance policies in the event of a member institution failure. PIDM is also mandated to provide incentives for sound risk management in the financial system, as well as promote and contribute to the stability of the financial system.
