JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary
• Develop dynamic, new or variations Islamic Banking products/services which comply with IFSA and any other laws in Malaysia, rules of the AIBIM as well as other circulars, guidelines and regulations issued by BNM including other regulatory agencies.
• Responsible in development and management of the Bank's new and existing business financing products which include enhancement of products features, product documentation and delivery system / channels.
• Full compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, guidelines as well as Shariah requirement.
Duties and responsibilities
• Keep abreast with the latest development on products and services in the financial industry, thus able to cater to customer needs and wants in order to surprise the market by strengthening the product introduction for the Bank.
• Effectively develop and enhance products/services within the approved budget for the development of new products.
• Update procedures and process flow to ensure that the changes are in line with the policies / guidelines of the bank/BNM and also Shariah Compliance due to introduction of new products or guidelines.
• Explore, conduct a bench marking and develop new products prototype to meet the current market needs.
• Coordinate and liaise with Compliance, Product Development and Shariah department on the new products development.
• Continuously identify, measure, control and report risk associated with the day to day activities, using the appropriate tools provided by Risk Management.

• Degree in any related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with good business acumen.
• An assertive and innovative team player, highly independent, committed, self-motivated, resourceful, and result-oriented.
• Ability to network across a variety of functions at various levels and countries.
• Ability to multi-task, highly numerate with great attention to detail.
• Able to provide fast response on products issues; operationally and structurally that may arise from time to time.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of management.
• Uses all opportunities to learn about customers’ requirements and expectations in order to add value / improve BIMB products and services to fulfill customers’ needs.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to complete multi-tasks with tight deadlines
